Hold tight
Well we thought it was all over...
But life is too exciting for that. That's right folks it's time to get back on that roller coaster...and get ready for part 2, which it turns out is even longer than part 1.
Hold tight!

I haven't
"You've stopped blogging" everyone says to me at the moment.
"No, I haven't, I'm still here." I reply. On a blog, as it happens.
The point is I have been busy. I have been trying to organise things. I do have quite a lot to tell you really, but it is just finding the time. I have to ring the church times at some point too...apparently they want an interview.
The last few weeks I have been travelling around the country quite a lot.
On one of those travels I met someone who said she used to read this blog. So I sort of wondered is there anyone still there! Because you should definitely keep reading this. Who knows where this story goes next.
Anyway, what have you been up to?

Jobs Jobs Jobs
You know what I spent most of 2009 looking for evidence of the recession and hardly saw any of it. A friend of mine went down from having a full time job to having to job share, but her husband kept his job so it was OK for them.
I watched the class of 2009 graduate and it seemed only slightly worse than last year.
Now all I seem to hear about it is job hunting. From friends as well as students. Not to mention mylocal MP ex-MP. It seems to me that the process of applying for jobs in this environment is a little de-humanising. The business of formulaic selling yourself. Of thickening your skin against rejection and ignoring your weaknesses.
There is something un-Jesus about the whole thing. Perhaps it is something we should theologically reflect on, especially University Chaplains. Maybe that needs to go into the person spec. if I may be so bold Bishop!
most interesting to date.
